Roy Carpenter’s Beach is a private beach in the town of South Kingstown in RI.  It is located near the village of Matununck, on Route 1 at the Matunuck Beach Road exit.  It is a community of summer cottages off Cards Pond Road.  There are a group of 377 cottages and are spaced close together on numbered rows east and west of a path leading to the ocean.  This community offers a unique, family oriented atmosphere.  Most cottage owners live at the beach all summer and many cottages are passed down with their families.
